Job summary

Jrl Group Ltd is seeking a part-time Estimator with a focus on preparing quotes from construction drawings for stair formwork and handrails. You will manage client communications, revise quotes, and follow up to secure projects. Collaboration with the design team will ensure pricing reflects design changes.

The role requires strong reading of drawings, numbers, and clear client communication. Training on our systems will be provided, and hours are negotiable.

Qualifications

• Reading construction drawings and interpreting them accurately.
• Comfortable making calls, following up on leads, and speaking with clients.
• Strong basic math skills and proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to commit to a consistent part-time schedule (hours/days negotiable).

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth by preparing accurate quotes and managing client relationships. This is a dynamic part-time position combining technical estimating with proactive sales follow-ups for stair formwork and handrails.

This is a Full TIME position.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Estimating & Quoting: Prepare accurate quotes based on technical construction drawings for stair formwork and handrails.
• Client Account Management: Revise existing quotes, issue formal applications to clients, and handle incoming sales inquiries.
• Proactive Sales Follow-ups: Conduct follow-up calls with clients to secure projects and build lasting commercial relationships.
• Team Collaboration: Liaise with the design team to update pricing where changes have been encountered during the design process.

Skills & Qualifications

Full training on our specific systems will be provided, but the following attributes are highly desirable:
