- £55,000 Salary + Bonus OTE £65k

- Field Based Role – Regional Travel Required
- Currently a £850k+ Region , with aspirations to be over £1M in the coming years
- Machine Tools Business – Sheet Metal, CNC, Machinery Manufacturing, Engineering Consumables, 3rd Party Manufacturing, Metal / Material Sales, etc.

We're looking for a Sales Engineer to own and grow a key regional territory, acting as the trusted technical advisor to both new and existing customers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as the go‑to expert for customers, translating complex technologies into tangible business value
- Manage your territory and pipeline through our advanced CRM and sales enablement tools
- Deliver compelling product demos and participate in high‑impact trade shows and roundtable events
- Collaborate with marketing on outreach and campaign activities
- Identify and develop new leads, clients, and projects through targeted prospecting
- Negotiate commercial terms with confidence while demonstrating deep product insight
- Stay on the cutting edge by engaging in continuous training and technical development
What We’re Looking For
- A technical qualification (degree in mechanical, process, chemical or related engineering field) or experience in a similar industry
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills – you’re confident speaking with engineers and procurement alike
- Commercially curious, you enjoy consultative sales and solving real‑world problems
- Driven and self‑managing, you thrive in a field‑based role where you control your own results
- Comfortable using CRM systems and collaborating cross‑functionally with marketing, product and support teams
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within your assigned territory
