đź About the Role
Weâre looking for a Senior PreâSales / Solutions Engineer to bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and client needs. Youâll work closely with the product, engineering, and sales team to understand client requirements, design tailored solutions, and communicate technical value in a clear, compelling way.
đĽ Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients in understanding and leveraging Oteraâs technology to streamline operations.
- Work with crossâfunctional teams to design solutions tailored to client needs, demonstrating Oteraâs impact on complex business processes.
- Deliver impactful demos and technical presentations to highlight platform value for technical and executive stakeholders.
- Support the sales team with technical guidance, addressing complex questions and differentiating our solutions.
- Lead PoCs, providing handsâon experience and showcasing adaptability and selfâlearning.
- Collect client insights to inform product improvements, reinforcing Oteraâs leadership.
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with clients and Câlevel stakeholders, positioning Otera as a longâterm strategic automation partner.
đ About You
- Experience: 5+ years in preâsales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles within AI/MLâfocused environments.
- Industry Expertise: Familiarity with enterprise processes in insurance, banking, and financial services sectors.
- AI & Automation Knowledge: Desirable familiarity with Agentic technologies and workflow automation solutions (n8n, boomi, workato, etc.)
- Effective Communication: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, outcomeâoriented business language.
- Technical Aptitude: Handsâon proficiency with APIs, JavaScript, Python scripting, and proofâofâconcept management.
- Executive Engagement: Proven experience engaging with Câlevel stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
- Autonomy: Selfâdriven and independent, able to manage priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Project Management: Experience managing client engagements from discovery to closing, ensuring timely, highâquality outcomes.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Strong business acumen and analytical mindset to identify and address key process improvement opportunities.
- Collaboration & Agility: Startupâready mindset, comfortable iterating quickly, collaborating across teams, and operating in ambiguity.
