Job summary

Euro Commercials Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a delivery-oriented Sales Driver to support our Mercedes-Benz operations. You will collect and deliver vehicles, maintain vehicle presentation, and handle receipts for expenses while ensuring compliance with tachograph and road-safety rules.

The role emphasizes courteous interaction with internal and external customers and a strong focus on delivering the Mercedes-Benz brand experience at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in collecting and delivering vehicles from external suppliers and body shops.
• Ability to plan deliveries and collections in a timely manner.
• Attention to vehicle cleanliness and presentation for customers.
• Record keeping for receipts and expenses for accounts.

Responsibilities

• To collect and deliver from external suppliers, and body shops.
• Efficient delivery of vehicles to customers including any necessary handover.
• General cleanliness of vehicles in conjunction with the valeter and yard order.
• Sole responsibility for producing valid receipts to cover expenses for accounts.
• Timely planning of all deliveries and collections.
• Ensure company vehicle maintenance complies with policy and law.
• Inspect vehicles on collection and report any mechanical or damage issues.
• Maintain trade plates with sales drivers.
• Deliver Mercedes‑Benz experience to all customers and suppliers with courtesy.
• Safely operate vehicle transporter for collection, delivery, and loading/unloading.

Objectives

• Ensure efficient movement of vehicles at alltimes.
• Ensurea high standard of cleanliness of all vehicles that are presented to internaland external customers at all times.

Reporting to

The Sales driver reports to the Sales Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• To collect and deliver from external suppliers, and body shops.
• Efficient delivery of vehicles to customers including any necessary handover.
• General cleanliness of vehicles in conjunction with the valeter and order of the yard.
• Sole responsibility for producing valid receipts to cover expenses, to the accounts department.
• Timely planning of all deliveries and collections.
• Ensure that the company vehicle is maintained in line with both company and legal requirements.
• Full inspection of vehicles upon collection, ensuring that any mechanical problems or accident damage is immediately reported and on a delivery note.
• Responsible for own set of trade plates, to be kept with sales drivers at all times.
• Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure the Mercedes‑B enz experience is delivered to all contacts at all times.
• Operate and utilise vehicle transporter safely and efficiently for the collection, delivery, loading and unloading of vehicles in accordance with company procedures and road safety regulations.
• Ensure tachograph compliance in line with regulations and company policy.
