Job summary

A leading events and conference company in London seeks a Sales Director responsible for revenue generation in the European sales team. The ideal candidate should have a proven sales track record in the event industry, fluent in English, with experience managing teams and driving sales strategies. A competitive base salary of £70,000 - £80,000 plus bonuses is offered.

Sales Director

Location London (City) - 4 days a week office, 1 day remote

About the Company Our client is a market-leading events and business conference company to the Technology sector. They work with major IT brands and key personnel, organising networking events and conferences across Europe to serve technology developments.

The Role of the Sales Director As Sales Director, you will be responsible for all business revenue generation activities of the European sales team. Working closely to the CEO, your role will include the following typical tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and drive the sales strategy for yourself and the sales team (who you will manage and motivate )
  • Manage your own full sales cycle
  • Oversee key account management and stakeholder relationships
  • Strategic client acquisition
  • Key client account management and development of long-term partnerships with technology vendors
  • Define the sales strategy, drives growth across all events and digital products, and ensures revenue targets consistently achieved.

Candidate background

  • Fluent in English. Fluency in any other language is an advantage but not essential
  • Proven track record of event industry sales
  • An ability to build high level relationships
  • Ideally some experience of managing and motivating a sales team
  • Experience with sales accounts

Salary & Benefits: Base salary of £70,000 - £80,000 plus bonus and commission
