Spinnaker Support has an immediate opening for a Sales Director to join our team in the UK. The role of the Sales Director will lead the development of net new business while expanding current account base in their assigned region. The Sales Director will manage a team of talented sales professionals, guiding them to achieve and exceed sales targets while leading the growth strategy for the company within their market – accounting for channel, direct, and indirect sales. They will need to be a seasoned professional that is a self‑starter, driven by results, and has the experience to operate as a brand leader with presence. Experience and knowledge of local markets, channel relationships, and track record of developing services business in the region is advantageous. This role reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Experience/Education Requirements
  • 10 plus years of direct sales experience
  • Experience selling SAP, Oracle or VMware maintenance services, ERP Outsourced Services is preferred.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, motivate a team of high‑caliber sales talent, and support the development of a full pipeline of sales prospects. Introduce strong sales processes, remove barriers, and provide recognition in the pursuit and achievement of sales revenue and profitability. Fostering a culture of continuous development and best practice sharing.
  • In leading the team of direct report sales professionals, build a network of executive relationships across the industry, community, and businesses. Stay current on issues impacting business and sales and provide meaningful strategic advice to retain and grow business through solutions offered.
  • Work closely with our VP of Global Channel Partners and the Regional Director of Strategic Partners and Alliance to execute channel strategy and engage directly with the channel partners of their pursuits.
  • Master and share the “Why Spinnaker Support story” that represents the value we provide with our service offering to prospective clients and our clients.
  • Leverage our Marketing campaigns and programs to drive customer acquisition.
  • Lead and execute targeted program(s) of net new client acquisition in your respective region.
  • Lead through excellence in C‑level communications, presentations, and sales activity.
  • Own and manage the opportunity pipeline to support sales quota performance expectations.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of direct report sales professionals, fostering a high‑performance, results‑driven culture. Monitor and take necessary measures to ensure an adequate pipeline of opportunities and demand generation for sustainable growth annually and beyond.
  • Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development for team members.
  • Utilize a disciplined approach for sales pipeline management, establish and maintain accurate, timely, and documented sales revenue forecasting to provide real‑in‑time updates to senior leadership as appropriate.
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new sales talent.
