A leading recruitment firm seeks an experienced Sales Director based in Loughborough, UK. This position requires overseeing P&L management, developing market strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Sales Director required for my client, who has a base in Loughborough
Full time, permanent role
Responsible for P&L, compliance and corporate governance
Reports to the supervisory board and prepares the presidents report for annual meetings
Focus on marketing and sellingproducts in the assigned territory, including frequent customer visits and visibly representing at trade shows and events
Develop and maintain an opportunity pipeline and communicate with the head officein Germany
Formulate market requirements in a structured and concise manner
Maintain and build strong customer relationships
Oversee and direct local staff
Direct office and warehouse procedures and policies
Improve, implement and control ERP-System Processes
Send monthly figures to Germany
Technical background and education in electrical engineering (or similar) and industry experience in the areas of LV / MV electrical protection and distribution
Hands‑on mentality and self‑motivated. More entrepreneur than manager with the ability and track record to work on own initiative
Strong communication skills, a high level of personal responsibility and a confident manner towards internal and external stakeholders
Structured, proactive and goal‑oriented way of working with a high degree of implementation strength and team spirit
Excellent digital skills and familiarity with software assisted processes in ERP systems (knowledge of SAGE is an advantage)
