Overview

Job Title: Cloud evangelist

About the Role: A Google AI/ML & GenAI Evangelist is a highly skilled and influential professional who acts as a bridge between Google's cutting-edge AI technologies and the developer, business, and academic communities. This role combines deep technical expertise with exceptional communication and public-facing skills. The primary goal is to drive the adoption and successful implementation of Google's AI, Machine Learning, and particularly Generative AI products and services.

Responsibilities

• Ignite and evangelize Google's AI/ML and Generative AI products (e.g., Vertex AI, Gemini models, Agentspace) through public speaking at major conferences, meetups, and webinars.
• Apply strong core consulting skills (Storyboarding, Logical Structuring, Executive Presentation, Business Case development, etc.).
• Leverage experience in Project/Program Management; PM experience is a plus.
• Engage with HiTech clients; bring Google understanding of Digital Native, Cloud & DevOps, FinTechs, Technology platform companies.
• Demonstrate 14+ years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment (large or boutique firms) and 4+ years of experience serving clients in the HiTech vertical.
• Demonstrate solid experience with AI/ML, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and the development of Generative AI models; proficiency with prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and MLOps practices.
• Create compelling technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, and open-source code examples, to showcase practical applications of Google's AI tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, particularly AI/ML services like Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Translate business needs into a clear technical vision and possess a passion for solving real-world problems with AI.
• Travel up to 20%, based on work and client/industry needs.

• 14+ years in domain/technology/consulting or equivalent experience.

Technical / Functional Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform, particularly its AI/ML services like Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and Google Kubernetes Engine.
