The opportunity

Our client is growing their Sales Academy and bringing on a new group of Business Development Executives (BDEs). This team is being built to better match how their sales pipeline works today. You’ll focus on high-intent retarget accounts (past inbound leads that went quiet), reactivated outbound campaigns, plus a steady flow of event leads, distributor opportunities, and industry partner referrals.

At its core, your mission is simple : turn dormant demand into active pipeline.

You’ll research and prioritise accounts, reconnect with previous evaluators, warm up leads coming from marketing, and turn early interest into qualified, high-value opportunities for the Account Executive team.

You’ll be joining a structured, hands‑on Academy program with real training across product, sales process, objection handling, CRM best practice, and the company’s unique market positioning. Expect to be surrounded by peers, coached directly, and encouraged to grow quickly.

The aim is to turn you into a confident, revenue‑generating rep within 90 days - and a reliable top‑of‑funnel performer within 12 months. From there, your career path could move into a full Account Executive role or into Account Management, depending on where you shine.

Whats in it for the right candidate
  • 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
  • Extra day annual leave for each full year service (capped at 28 days)
  • Ongoing technical salesperson training
  • Contributory pension
  • Maternity / Paternity Leave
  • Breakfast and lunch clubs
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Ability to work anywhere in the world up to 1 month per year (post probation)
  • Company Macbook Air
  • Fully stocked beer fridge and regular social events
  • Annual team away trip (previous locations being Atlanta, Nashville, Orlando)
What you'll bring

You’re ambitious, competitive, and hungry to build a career in tech sales. You’d rather pick up the phone than hide behind email, and you genuinely enjoy real conversations. You’re comfortable talking to all kinds of entrepreneurs from small business owners who may be new to tech, to experienced founders moving fast and thinking big.

You also bring :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong organisation and a bias toward action
  • A willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve quickly
  • Tenacity and resilience - you push through challenges and aim to beat your own performance
  • Fluency in a second language (Spanish preferred)
  • Evidence of a strong work ethic (real examples help)
  • A collaborative mindset - you enjoy being part of a tight, supportive team

If you need constant hand-holding to stay motivated, this won’t be the role for you. But if you want ownership, pace, and a clear career path, you’ll fit right in.

What you'll do
  • Re‑engage and convert retarget accounts (past inbound leads now marked closed‑lost)
  • Qualify inbound and event‑generated leads
  • Reach out to prospects across multiple channels (phone, email, social)
  • Build early value by educating prospects on operational and revenue outcomes
  • Run structured discovery to understand fit and urgency
  • Maintain high CRM hygiene
  • Book qualified demos for AEs with prospects ready to move
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Leadership
How success will be measured
  • Qualified opportunities generated per month
  • Conversion rate from retarget accounts
  • Speed‑to‑lead and follow‑up consistency
  • Activity volume and quality (calls, conversations, email replies, SMS engagement)
  • Pipeline value contribution
Data quality and adherence to process
