Sales Development Manager

North West of England covering Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire, Lincolnshire and Staffordshire.

£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus (up to 20%) + Company Car + Expenses

My client are a global business and the market leader in the UK market. With close to 100 sites in the UK they are looking to add a new member to the sales development team to cover a territory of their sites across the North West region to help continue growing their market share.

As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new customers across your regions as well as developing existing client relationships to identify opportunities and get more out of the current accounts our client trade with.

Ideally you will already be a successful field sales professional, who is confident, outgoing, resilient and driven to building new relationships with new and existing customers.

Your Skills & Unique Attributes

You must have sales management, business development or national account manager experience and can come from any sector or industry as long as you have a track record of developing large local or national based customer relationships for new and existing customers or ideally both.

You will be a self starter who is driven, organised, has excellent communication and time management skills along with the drive and ambition to succeed. You will thrive in hunting out opportunity, building new relationships and developing existing to achieve targets through successful customer visits, account openings and sales.
