Job summary

Arnold Clark is seeking a confident Sales Consultant for our new Telford branch. You will be the Product Consultant, focused on sales while delivering exceptional customer service and building relationships from entry to aftersales.

We offer a five-day week, competitive earnings with an OTE of £40,000–£45,000, and generous leave. Training, private healthcare, life assurance, and staff discounts accompany a friendly, customer-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and a track record of delivering great customer service.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and able to build rapport with customers.
• Driving licence held for at least 1 year is required.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find the right car based on their needs.
• Deliver outstanding, 5-star service for every customer.
• Build lasting relationships with customers through the sales journey and aftercare.
• Sell appropriate finance and servicing packages with integrity.
• Coordinate order and delivery of vehicles to ensure smooth process.
• Meet monthly sales targets and uphold customer experience standards.

We’re looking for an ambitious and confident Sales Consultant to join the team at our new branch in Telford.

What’s the job?

You’ll be known as a Product Consultant at Arnold Clark but your role will be heavily sales focused. Be sure though, this isn’t any kind of sales job.

As an Arnold Clark Product Consultant, you’ll be with our customers every step of the way – from the moment they walk through the door right through to offering them a great aftersales experience. This role is all about helping our customers find the right car based on what they need and building up strong, positive relationships with them through every step of the process.

• Helping our customers find the right car, based on what they need
• Delivering outstanding, 5-star service for every customer – that means going the extra mile for everyone who walks through the door
• Building and maintaining lasting and sincere relationships with customers through every step of the sales process
• Selling the right sales package for the customer, from finance to servicing, with integrity and professionalism at the top of your list
• Co-ordinating the order and delivery of vehicles and keep everything running smoothly
• Meeting those monthly sales expectations and customer experience standards like a boss
• Working as part of a dynamic team to make sure deadlines are met and we always make good on our promises
• Staying in touch with our customers to offer them a great aftersales experience
