Sales Consultant - Remote

A well-established and growing AV and lighting solutions company, based in the Midlands, is seeking an ambitious and motivated Sales Consultant to join their expanding team. With over 15 years' experience, the company provides cutting‑edge sound, visual, and lighting solutions across the construction, entertainment, and corporate sectors. Their projects span landmarks, churches, sports facilities and stadiums, zoos, and more. While renowned for their AV expertise, they are rapidly building a strong presence in lighting and are looking for the right candidate to help drive this growth.

The Role

This is a remote, flexible position with the freedom to manage your own time and diary. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Meeting potential clients, including consultants, specifiers, designers, installers, and trainers.
  • Developing relationships and driving sales of AV and lighting solutions.
  • Attending exhibitions to promote the business and generate new leads.
  • Working on high‑profile projects across diverse sectors, with full briefs, photos, budgets, and timeframes provided before passing details to the project manager.
  • Ensuring quotes are returned within a 2‑week turnaround and maintaining ongoing client engagement via video calls.
  • Contributing to the growth of the company's lighting division.
  • Supporting the company's referral‑driven approach to winning new business.
