Salary : £45,000 – £50,000 + bonus

Location : Midland based (with travel)

A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Sales / Business Development professional to support continued growth within the automotive sector.

This role is suited to someone with a strong background in automotive sales who is comfortable developing new business while managing and growing existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the automotive sector
  • Manage and grow existing OEM and Tier 1 / Tier 2 customer accounts
  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations
  • Work closely with internal engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance against targets
Key Requirements
  • Proven sales or business development experience within the automotive industry
  • Experience dealing with OEMs, Tier 1, and Tier 2 suppliers
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex projects
