Job summary

PetPeople in the United Kingdom is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate who shares our passion for high quality, natural pet foods and treats. You will engage customers, share knowledge, and help build lasting relationships with pets and their people.

Key attributes include a love of pets, energetic service, integrity, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll also assist with stock, merchandising, and daily store upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service with a genuine, friendly experience for pets and their people.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay current with new releases.
• Perform daily/monthly cleaning and general housekeeping for a clean, organized store.
• Assist in processing shipments, replenishing stock, merchandising and pricing for display accuracy.
• Complete transactions at the POS quickly and accurately.

A PetPeople Part Time Sales Associate models our Mission and Core Values. Striving to be the neighborhood place for natural foods and quality supplies for dogs and cats; engaging customers through sharing ideas and providing solutions to build lasting relationships. Sales Associate responsibilities include:

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a genuine, friendly and entertaining experience - for pets and their people!
• Maintain solid product knowledge and keep current with new product releases.
• Utilize daily and monthly cleaning lists and perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized store.
• Assist in processing shipment, replenishing product, merchandising and monitoring floor stock to ensure all product is priced, displayed and rotated correctly.
• Complete transactions at the POS quickly and accurately.
• Celebrate successes.
