Job description

If you have an interest in farming, horses, or rural life and enjoy helping people — and you have proven sales experience — this could be the ideal next step in your career. You’ll be visiting farms, speaking with farmers, and supporting them with their insurance needs. Full insurance training will be provided, but strong, demonstrable sales ability is essential.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has proven sales experience — ideally in a role involving outbound calls, prospecting, converting leads, or field sales.
  • Can build relationships naturally, especially with farmers and rural clients.
  • Is motivated by earning potential, with commission available on top of a competitive salary.
  • Enjoys engaging with people and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Is mobile, holds a driving licence, and is happy to visit clients locally once fully trained.
  • Has good maths and English skills to handle quotations, enquiries, and client information accurately.
  • Is keen to learn the insurance sector, adaptable, coachable, and eager to progress into a licensed role.
  • Works well in a small team but also uses initiative independently.
  • Shows professionalism, integrity, and reliability in every client interaction.
In this sales-driven agricultural insurance role, you will:
  • Handle incoming enquiries and retain existing clients.
  • Respond to and convert new business leads from farmers and rural businesses.
  • Prospect, build relationships, and develop your own client base over time.
  • Visit clients locally once trained, combining sales, service, and relationship-building.
Once Licensed, You Will:
  • Be authorised to advise clients and manage your own book of business.
  • Move from training into a full sales and client-facing role.
  • Become eligible for commission and sales incentives, significantly increasing your earning potential.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
