Job summary

Poundland is seeking a Sales Assistant to be the brand ambassador on the shop floor, delivering a great shopping experience for customers. You will join a friendly, energetic team and help keep the store stocked, assist with deliveries, and ensure checkouts run smoothly.

A can-do, friendly approach and attention to detail are essential. Training will be provided to help you grow within the role and potentially advance to team leader positions.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is welcome but not essential
• Organised with good attention to detail, especially on tills
• Good teamwork and energy for a fast-paced store environment

• Keep the shop floor stocked and tidy
• Provide fantastic customer service and help customers on the shop floor
• Support deliveries and stock replenishment

About The Role

You’ll be part of a friendly, energetic team, keeping the store stocked, giving fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, making sure the checkouts run smoothly and ensuring the environment is safe, tidy and welcoming.

A can do, friendly approach in a team environment is what we need for this role. Having an organised approach with good attention to detail, especially on the tills, is key. Retail or customer service experience is great, but not essential, we’ll unleash your potential providing the training to get you up to speed as you’re a key part of our success.
