Job summary

Rushden Lakes is hiring a Sales Assistant (Customer Advisor) to help customers find the right outdoor gear, provide friendly advice, and learn specialist services like gait analysis and boot fitting. You’ll work with a team that shares a love for the outdoors and enjoy great staff discounts and development opportunities.

The role is part-time (approximately 12 hours per week) in a busy retail setting. Training is provided to help you grow confidence and product knowledge, with weekend shifts

• Learn and deliver specialist services like gait analysis, boot fitting and rucksack fitting with the training provided.
• Support store operations by keeping shelves tidy, stockroom organized, and the shop running smoothly.
• Be part of a flexible team, with weekend shifts included to assist customers when they need us most.

What you'll be doing

As part of our store team you'll be working with friendly people who enjoy the outdoors, just like you. You'll help customers reconnect with nature by making sure they leave with the right kit, whatever the elements throw at them. Each day you can expect to:

• Build trusted product knowledge through expert training and hands-on experience, so you can offer reliable advice
• Learn and deliver specialist services like gait analysis, boot fitting and rucksack fitting - we'll give you all the training you need to support every customer's journey
• Help the store run smoothly by keeping shelves tidy, products easy to see, and the stockroom neat and organized
• Be part of a flexible team, with weekend shifts included so we can help customers when they need us the most
