THE EMPLOYER IS: WOODVALE COSTCUTTER LIMITEDWe are currently looking a retail sales assistant in our store (Woodvale Costcutter).You will be working with other retail sales assistants to: manage the shop floor, provide a high level of customer service, process transactions through the tills, replenish stock on the shop floor and ensure the shop is always keep clean and tidy.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: Greeting customers, answering questions, handling complaints and offering product advice.
• Payments: Processing transactions accurately through our point-of-sales system.
• Sales: Selling products and informing customers about promotions and offers.
• Merchandising: Replenishing the sale floor stock and displaying products to maximise sales.
• Store cleanliness: Keeping the shop floor clean, tidy and organised.
• Teamwork: Working with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the overall store.

Skills and Qualifications

• Competency with POS systems and cash handling.
• Previous experience in retail sales.
