Join the ambitious team at RAINEY MAPAL, an industry-leading tool supplier and manufacturer based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with CNC metal cutting experience, to work with us in a Sales & Applications role covering a number of existing aerospace & automotive customers in Northern Ireland as well as searching out new business opportunities. This individual will work closely with the team at RAINEY MAPAL in Lisburn & MAPAL UK office in Rugby.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and optimising job processes and for increased efficiency.
  • Sourcing technical information as needed and providing expert technical advice.
  • Developing new business.
  • Ensuring quality control and troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Setting up and running trials on new tooling.
  • Collaborating closely with our technical team to custom machine parts and show improvements for clients.
  • Generating technical quotations as required, including manufacturing or machining techniques for specific jobs.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses
  • An apprenticeship in Mechanical Manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a CNC programmer (preferred but not essential)
  • Proficiency in design software such as CAD / CAM (preferred but not essential)
  • Based in Northern Ireland
  • A team spirit and good communication skills dealing with both customers and colleagues.
