Overview

Irrigation Sales Representative — Field-based, covering Birmingham to the South Coast. Salary: £45,000+ bonus, company vehicle, and benefits. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Irrigation Sales Representative to join our growing team. You will promote and sell Groundcare Machinery to residential/commercial sectors, irrigation systems, as well as Otterbine fountains and aerators.

Responsibilities
  • Lead negotiations and manage project sales through to contract award across the region.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations for small and medium irrigation projects in conjunction with the Division Manager.
  • Respond promptly to customer and Otterbine product enquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with installers, dealers, and irrigation consultants.
  • Support aftersales opportunities and customer retention through excellent service and follow-up.
  • Deliver product presentations and training sessions to end-users, contractors, and designers.
  • Provide technical support during system design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and produce monthly activity reports.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and represent the brand with integrity and enthusiasm.
About You
  • Experience in irrigation, turfcare, golf course, or landscape equipment sales preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of Groundcare products highly beneficial (training provided).
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles desirable.
  • Confident communicator with strong sales negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing your own territory.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
