Job description
Overview

The role of a Sales and Operations Manager is that of an integrator – someone who connects people, processes, and technology to ensure the smooth delivery of business objectives. You will translate strategic goals into practical actions, bridging the gap between sales, delivery, consulting and internal operations to create a cohesive, high‑performing business environment.

Leveraging your understanding of both commercial and operational dynamics, you will streamline workflows, optimise the use of digital tools (including AI when appropriate), and ensure business agreements and documentation are accurate and timely. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations while contributing to strategic planning to help the organisation scale effectively while maintaining operational excellence and agility in a fast‑changing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the sales process runs smoothly, resulting in predictable revenue flows and accurate board reporting.
  • Streamline sales and operational processes, improving efficiency (using AI where possible).
  • Drive clarity and understanding across sales and marketing processes, including ISO9001 compliance.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end sales and operational processes, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, clients, and external partners.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and AI tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload.
  • Take responsibility for CRM data quality in HubSpot and related systems.
  • Monitor and generate reports on sales performance, operational KPIs, and resource metrics to support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Provide critical inputs to board reporting with timely and precise reports as part of our board back and investor governance.
  • Perform weekly and monthly health checks across the sales pipeline and customer/contact data.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with departments such as Finance, Delivery, Consulting and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent client experience.
  • Forecast demand and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of projects and services.
  • Manage and optimise CRM systems and digital tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Excel, Teams, ROXY, HubSpot) to support sales tracking and operational visibility.
  • Develop and document scalable workflows to support business growth and maintain quality standards.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and adaptability in a fast‑changing environment.
  • Support leadership with strategic initiatives and planning for future operational capacity.
Qualities and Qualifications
  • Active listening skills with the ability to empathise and build rapport with stakeholders across a range of management styles and personal skills.
  • Curious and creative thinker, willing to challenge preconceived ideas and conventions, creating unique and innovative insights.
  • Ability to produce high‑quality deliverables tailored to the needs of engagement stakeholders and their preferred communication methods.
  • Strong leadership by example, fostering trusted relationships with team members, recognising contributions, and encouraging open communication.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of performance.
