A leading defence organisation in Stevenage seeks a Sales & Business Development professional to drive new business initiatives. You'll develop campaigns, build relationships with the UK MoD, and secure order intake in alignment with the business plan. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication and business winning skills, coupled with a background in missile systems or a similar field.
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 - 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
* The benefit amount will vary, dependant on grade of offer.
This is an exciting role working at the heart of the company’s efforts to secure new business for MBDA in the UK, developing a deep insight to the UK customer environment. You will form a wide network across a number of teams and functions in MBDA. Through your ownership of a number of sales and business development campaigns, you will directly contribute to the success of MBDA!
You will help secure future order intake in line with our Business Plan; leading multi-function win teams; defining bid strategy, and gaining commitment from key stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for the customer and MBDA. You will form strong and trusted customer relationships, understanding their requirements and challenges.
