London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) invites applications for its Sales Internship Programme starting June 2027. The role supports sales teams, builds client relationships, and helps identify business opportunities within a fast-paced financial markets environment.

Ideal candidates are penultimate-year undergraduates who will complete their course requirements by September 2028, with a strong interest in financial markets and excellent communication skills.

Our Sales Internship Programme offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience within a global financial markets organisation.

At LSEG, we help customers access trusted data, technology, and market infrastructure that support businesses and economies around the world.

As a Sales Intern, you will work alongside experienced commercial teams, helping to build and maintain client relationships, understand customer needs, and support business development activities.

You will gain exposure to how LSEG delivers value to customers across financial markets through its data, analytics, technology, and market services solutions.

To be eligible, you must be a penultimate year undergraduate student due to complete all the requirements of your course by September 2028.

This internship is designed to provide practical experience in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment while helping you develop core commercial, analytical, and communication skills.

During the internship, you may:

• Support sales and account management teams with client engagement activities
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify business opportunities
• Analyse customer and industry trends to help inform commercial decisions
• Assist with presentations, proposals, and sales materials
• Collaborate with colleagues across different business functions and regions
• Develop an understanding of LSEG’s products, services, and customers

What we are looking for:

We are passionate about recruiting people who want to understand the full breadth of our organisation, how it fits together, how it functions – and are interested in playing a part of our development, as it grows and diversifies. You should have a demonstrable interest in financial markets, which you’ve built through your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities. A curiosity for data and an ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions. Individuals who are able to connect the dots and think strategically. The environment we work in is fast paced, you’ll need to demonstrate focus, resilience and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands. People who can collaborate with others, using their strong communication skills in the process.

Ideal candidates will have the rights to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the programme.

You will stand out to us if you can demonstrate and recognise that what you achieve is equally important as how you achieve it.
