Job summary

A leading plumbing and heating supplier is looking for a full-time Sales Advisor based in Stockton on Tees. You will assist customers at the trade counter, handle stock management, and ensure efficient order processing. Ideal candidates have experience in customer service and the plumbing industry. As a Sales Advisor based in our Stockton on Tees branch you’ll be responsible for:

  • Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations

  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude

  • Working within the warehouse - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)

  • Loading and unloading stock

  • Booking stock in and putting it away in the designated location

  • Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency

  • On occasion driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area

This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm and Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm.

  • Experience in the Plumbing & Heating Industry is ideal

  • A full UK Manual Driving Licence is ideal

  • Previous face to face customer service experience

  • To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch

  • Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
