The impact you'll have

As a Sales Advisor for Equipment Sales and Building Materials, you’ll use your product knowledge and experience to offer our customers the best solutions for their projects. You will be the face of equipment and building materials sales, managing our customers. You’ll spend your time building strong relationships with contractors, developers, and trade professionals, helping them find the right products and solutions for their projects.

You’ll use your product knowledge and problem-solving skills to offer practical advice, answer questions, and guide customers from their first enquiry right through to delivery and after-sales support. Working closely with your teammates, you’ll help prepare quotes, manage orders, and make sure everything runs smoothly.

A typical day
  • Welcome and support customers, building positive relationships with contractors, tradespeople, and developers
  • Provide helpful advice on construction equipment and building materials to match customer needs and projects
  • Identify sales opportunities and confidently recommend suitable products and solutions
  • Prepare accurate quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure a smooth customer journey
  • Manage your pipeline of opportunities to maximise revenue
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date with new ranges, offers, and industry trends
  • Work closely with colleagues across sales, logistics, and operations to ensure timely deliveries
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage existing accounts while actively developing new customer relationships
  • Keep records up to date using internal systems and CRM tool
