Job summary

A leading flooring contractor in the UK is seeking a proactive individual to maximize sales and ensure high customer service standards in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include labelling goods, supporting unloading, and maintaining safety standards. Candidates must hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to obtain a Fork Lift Truck certificate. Job Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that all goods for sale are correctly labelled and displayed safely.
  • Providing an excellent service whilst complying to our Customer Service Policy.
  • Being available to deliver to site when required.
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles.
  • Carrying out administration and housekeeping duties in relation to the warehouse.
  • Ensuring merchandise and warehouse security.
  • Ensuring that high health and safety standards are maintained at all times.

In addition, this role has an absolute focus on sales to maximise business. The ideal candidate will be able to bring in new customers and grow existing ones across all sectors and product groups.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a confident, proactive individual who will be self‑motivated and forward‑thinking in their approach to maximise sales and profit, a strong team player with excellent communication skills, and great organisational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Full UK driving licence to complete driving duties.
  • Willingness to undertake training for a Fork Lift Truck certificate.
  • Ability to work efficiently and safely under pressure.
