Job Summary
Working hours: 35 a week. We are seeking a highly motivated and results‑oriented Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through both B2B and B2C sales channels, with a strong focus on business development and expanding our market presence within the UK.
Responsibilities
Sales Execution (B2B & B2C)
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within both the B2B and B2C markets.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our online learning solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales records and track progress using our systems.
Business Development
- Identify and research new market segments and potential client groups within the EdTech sector.
- Develop and execute strategies for generating new leads and expanding our customer base.
- Network with industry professionals and attend relevant events to build relationships and promote our brand.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with complementary organisations.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitor offerings.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers at client organisations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on our online learning solutions.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure client needs are met.
Reporting and Analysis
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the Sales Manager.
- Track and analyse sales performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the EdTech industry (minimum 3 years).
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong English proficiency.
