Position: Sales Account Manager
Location: St Neots
Salary: 31,000 - 35,000 (DOE)
Sales Account Manager required to join a well-established Engineering company that is based in the St Neots area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, expanding, and identifying new and existing sales opportunities. Increasing and securing sales, whilst ensuring that customer orders are successfully and efficiently completed.
Sales Account Manager Job Overview
- Creating and securing new business.
 
- Nurture and grow existing customer accounts.
 
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
 
- Negotiate with suppliers to attain the best price for customers.
 
- Prepare quotes and close deals in line with company policies and profit margins.
 
- Following up quotations for speedy deal close.
 
- Use all available communication tools, from telephone, email, and social media platforms i.e. LinkedIn.
 
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
 
- Track and report sales performance and customer feedback.
 
- Maintain and develop a healthy pipeline of lead generation.
 
- Communicate effectively with other departments to deliver customer expectations.
 
Sales Account Manager Job Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years' experience within an Account Manager, Business Development Manager or similar position.
 
- Ability to read Engineer Drawings.
 
- To be dynamic and tenacious without being aggressive.
