Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a patient-centred GP to join an inner-city Glasgow practice on a salaried basis with a clear pathway to Partnership. You will work within a skilled MDT of 6 doctors, pharmacists and social prescribing link workers, delivering the full breadth of primary care including complex multi-morbidity, mental health and deprivation related illness.

Special interests are welcome and can be accommodated within your job plan.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
• CCT in General Practice or equivalent.
• RCGP membership on performance list for Scotland.
• Commitment to NHS inner city general practice.
• Experience with complex social presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide full breadth of primary care including complex multi-morbidity and mental health.
• Deliver care in a multidisciplinary team with pharmacists and social prescribing link workers.
• Supervise and teach medical students and junior staff.
• Develop special interests within the job plan and participate in audits.
