Prospect Health is assisting a GP practice in Leominster, England, to recruit a Salaried GP. The role offers flexible hours and a low-home-visit workload, with strong support from an established clinical team and a well-regarded teaching environment.

The position supports potential Partnership and includes NHS Pension enrollment and indemnity coverage. 6 weeks holiday and 1 week study leave are also offered.

Responsibilities

• Manage a stable patient list with minimal home visits.
• Work with an experienced clinical team including Permanent GPs, Paramedics, Pharmacists and ANPs.
• Offer 4-8 sessions with flexible days and session times.
• Maintain a strong, cohesive GP team and support teaching and training.
• Contribute to a successful dispensing practice.
• Participate in teaching and training activities in-house.
• Explore potential for Partnership.
• Be part of a low-duty doctor role with no extended hours necessary.

Job description

This is an excellent chance to join an established and well-regarded GP practice, in a beautiful market town location (Leominster). The surgery has worked hard in recent years to ensure a flexible and efficient workload for their GPs, with minimal home visits and admin, and offers the option for flexible hours. The practice provides ample on‑site parking.

Key Duties

• Stable patient list of just over 19,000 with a low number of home visits.
• Great support from an experienced permanent clinical team including Permanent GPs, Paramedics, Pharmacists and ANPs.
• Offering 4-8 sessions with great flexibility on working days and session timings.
• Strong existing team of permanent GPs.
• Successful dispensing practice.
• Well‑regarded teaching and training practice.
• Low duty doctor role, minimal home visits, and no extended hours necessary.
• Option for Partnership also offered.
