Job summary

Menlo Park Recruitment is seeking a Salaried GP in Nottingham (East). This practice protects clinicians’ time with protected CPD each week, a duty day, and an in‑house system that files about half of pathology results automatically.

GP trainers and educational supervisors are especially welcome to lead a respected training programme. You will see around 26 patients per day in 10‑minute slots, enjoy six weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays, NHS Pension, and indemnity.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with GMC registration and UK performers list.
• Experience in GP training or supervision is advantageous.
• Ability to supervise and develop junior clinicians within a training programme.

Responsibilities

• Supervise GPs and educational supervisors, leading training activities.
• See around 26 patients per day in 10-minute slots.
• Participate in weekly duty days and training sessions.

Salaried GP | Nottingham (East)

Background

Protected CPD every week, a duty day clinicians volunteer for and an in-house system that files around half of all pathology results automatically. This is a practice that genuinely protects its clinicians' time. For a GP trainer or educational supervisor, it is also a chance to play a central role in a well-established training programme with generous supervision time.

Location

The practice is in a rural village to the east of Nottingham, on the edge of the Vale. Grantham is around 15 minutes away by car, Newark around 30 minutes and Nottingham around 35 minutes.

Practice Details

• GP training practice with registrars on site

• In-house add-on to the clinical system automates recall and prescribing
• 40 minutes protected at 11am every day for coffee/team catch-up
• Monthly service improvement day with clinical and admin representatives from every site
• Experienced ANP on site every day, plus a dedicated mental health team
• Large practice with a strong partnership team and a large salaried GP team
• Rated Good by the CQC

Your Role

• GP trainers and educational supervisors especially welcome, with supervising GPs seeing around 20 patients a day
• 26 patients per day in 10-minute slots
• Weekly duty day with around five or six on-the-day patients, the rest triage

Salary and Benefits

• Circa £11,300-£11,600 per session
• One protected CPD session per week (FTE, pro rata), never traded away for capacity
• One week of study leave, pro rata, on top of weekly CPD
• six weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays, on BMA model contract terms
