Job summary

Menlo Park International GPs in Liverpool East seeks a qualified General Practitioner to join a salaried team working 6–8 sessions weekly with flexible hours. The role emphasises clinical complexity over volume in a tech-enabled, multidisciplinary setting.

You will join a practice with an established pathology for leadership progression, NHS Pension, and generous annual leave. Induction and ongoing support are provided to help you grow beyond routine sessions.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP and GMC registered.
• Experience in general practice setting preferred.
• Ability to work with a large, tech-enabled multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 6–8 sessions per week with flexible start/finish times.
• Operate within a pooled patient list to optimise clinic demand.
• Participate in leadership pathways and professional development.
• Minimise GP admin through tech-enabled systems and AI support.
• Undertake light home visits as needed and only when scheduled.

This role offers something genuinely rare in general practice: no full days of on-call, ever, and a working pattern you can shape around your own life rather than a fixed template. Backed by one of the most heavily technology-enabled multidisciplinary teams in the area, you'll be able to focus on complexity rather than volume, with a genuine, demonstrated pathway into clinical leadership for GPs who want to grow beyond clinical sessions alone.

Location

The role is based in the Liverpool East area of Merseyside, within easy reach of Liverpool city centre (around 20 minutes), St Helens (around 20 minutes) and Warrington (around 25 minutes), with excellent motorway links via the M57 and M62.

The Practice

• GP Training Practice
• Large, well-resourced multidisciplinary team, so GPs can focus on complexity rather than volume
• Heavily tech-enabled, with AI call handling and automated results filing reducing GP admin burden
• Strong staff retention, with GPs typically staying five or more years
• Salaried GP team supported by a large group of Associate GPs
• CQC rated Good overall

Your Role

• 6 to 8 sessions a week
• Flexible session start and finish times, including an established 9am to 5pm working pattern
• No full days of on-call: duty is split into half-day morning or afternoon sessions only
• Pooled patient list, so your clinic slots benefit from practice-wide demand rather than a single caseload
• Genuinely light home visits, with a dedicated home-visiting hour repurposed for other clinical work when not needed
• Optional, separately paid, extended access and Saturday work, never mandatory
• Genuine pathway into clinical leadership roles

Salary And Benefits
