Job description

£94,000 - £108,000 per annum BMA model + 7 weeks leave

You will be joining a stable and welcoming GP practice with an excellent reputation and a genuinely supportive culture. The Partners have created a friendly, collaborative environment with regular team coffee breaks, shared lunches, and a focus on sustainable general practice.

The surgery offers 20-minute appointments, very few home visits, and a well-supported clinical structure featuring paramedic practitioners, nurses, a social prescriber and a prescribing lead. The practice has a strong elderly demographic, is developing a Women’s Health Hub and uses a modern total triage system, ranked 11th best in Sussex for access.

Salary – Up to £12,000 per session + NHS pension + BMA Model Contract

Tier 2 Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location – Horsham

The Surgery –

  • Elderly demographic
  • CQC Good
  • Strong PCN involvement
  • Very positive team culture; strong retention

  • Single-site practice

Your role –

  • 4 to 6 sessions preferred
  • No personal lists — instead, a small ring-fenced population per session (approx. 200–250 patients per session)
  • 20-minute appointments
  • Start and finish times flexible
  • Very few home visits
  • No extended hours
  • Good opportunities to socialise with the team (daily coffee break at 10am and shared lunch)
  • Interests particularly welcomed: Women’s Health, Frailty, Dermatology, Joint injections, Minor surgery, Menopause, Diabetes
  • Looking for an enthusiastic GP invested in long-term general practice, proactive, reliable, and interested in leadership or developing special interests

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
