Looking for a GP role where you can practise broad, rewarding medicine while developing the career that interests you?
We are looking to recruit GPs to join our team in the Fraserburgh area of Aberdeenshire, with up to 20 sessions per week available across two full-time posts.
We welcome applications from GPs looking for full-time or part-time opportunities and are happy to discuss flexible sessional arrangements for the right candidates.
Working in the Fraserburgh area offers an opportunity to experience the variety and professional satisfaction that comes with remote and rural general practice.
You will have the opportunity to manage a broad and interesting clinical caseload while working as part of an established multidisciplinary team (MDT). Collaborative working is central to how we deliver care, with different professionals working together to support our patients and our clinical team.
For GPs who enjoy continuity, variety and being part of the wider community they serve, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career in an area where your contribution can make a genuine difference.
We are particularly keen to hear from GPs who are looking for more than simply their next post.
We want to support our GPs to develop professionally and will actively encourage training, continued professional development and areas of special clinical interest.
Whether you already have a special interest that you would like to develop further or are at an earlier stage of your career and want to explore future opportunities, we would be happy to discuss how these could be supported within the role.
There will also be opportunities for GPs who are interested in developing their role in the future, including the potential to become more involved in clinical leadership, service development and the wider development of general practice.
Located on the north-east coast of Aberdeenshire, Fraserburgh offers the opportunity to combine a rewarding GP career with the lifestyle benefits of coastal and rural Scotland.
For those considering relocating to the area, it provides access to beautiful coastline and countryside while remaining connected to the wider Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen area.
This could particularly suit a GP looking for the breadth and autonomy of remote and rural medicine, without giving up the benefits of working within a supportive wider clinical team.
We would be delighted to have an informal and confidential conversation with GPs interested in finding out more.
Whether you are looking for two sessions or ten sessions, are an experienced GP considering your next move, or are looking for a practice where you can develop your career and clinical interests, we would encourage you to get in touch.
Come and help us shape the future of general practice in Fraserburgh.
