Job summary

Penrhyn Surgery in Walthamstow, East London, is seeking a salaried GP to join part-time (4-6 sessions/week). The role focuses on high-quality patient care within a supportive, forward-thinking training practice that values teamwork and sustainable workloads.

The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, pharmacists and PCN colleagues, and participate in enhanced access services while maintaining full GMC registration and NHS Performers List status.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with GMC registration and CCT or equivalent.
• MRCGP and NHS Performers List inclusion expected.
• DBS clearance and ongoing CPD participation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to patients across all ages and clinical needs.
• Conduct consultations (face-to-face, telephone, and video/online where applicable).
• Manage acute and chronic conditions including long-term reviews and preventive care.
• Support womens health, vaccinations, and common clinical procedures as appropriate.
• Contribute to QOF, audits, governance and quality improvement.
• Engage with training responsibilities and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical records per practice policies.

Essential Qualifications

• Qualified General Practitioner

• Experience working in UK primary care
• Understanding of the GMS contract
