Job Summary

Due to a reduction in partner sessions a 6‑session salaried GP role with a view to partnership is available in Ebbw Vale, in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Open to experienced or newly qualified GPs.

The Practice
  • Training practice for GP registrars and medical students
  • 7 partners (including 2 previous trainees) and 2 salaried staff
  • List size 9900 with a diverse patient cohort
  • Mixture of 15‑minute face‑to‑face appointments and 10‑minute telephone appointments
  • Friendly and supportive team with open communication actively encouraged
  • Well‑trained admin and reception staff
  • In‑house pharmacist
  • Weekly physiotherapy appointments
  • Strong links to social prescribers
  • EMIS clinical system with use of AccuRx
  • Single site with free on‑site parking
Main Duties of the Job

Work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. The post holder will adhere to GMC standards for good medical practice, contribute to effective practice management, lead by example, and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
