Job description
Main duties of the job

Adaptable and dynamic salaried GP required to join an innovative, high-quality practice on the South Coast of England.

We are looking for a GP with excellent clinical skills who can work as part of our team.

  • 4 sessions per week, preferably Monday and Thursday with flexibility on other days.
  • Manage patient list once induction and familiarisation is complete.
  • Participate in duty/enhanced access rota.
  • Weekend work only when supporting seasonal activity.
  • Use of EMIS Web clinical system.
  • High QOF achievement target of 100%.
  • 6 weeks annual leave plus 1 week study leave.
  • Home Visiting Service (covering most home visits), supported by social prescribers, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Job responsibilities
  • Provide excellent patient care in a primary care setting.

  • Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
  • Prescribe in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary or generically whenever clinically appropriate.
Person Specification & Qualifications
  • Qualified GP, full registration with GMC, listed on UK Medical Practitioners List.
  • Must meet professional health requirements in line with GMC standards (Good Medical Practice).
  • Current UK professional registration.
  • Full clean driving licence to enable home visits.
