A rural medical practice in the United Kingdom is looking for a friendly and dynamic GP to join their team for 6 sessions per week. The role requires an enthusiastic team player dedicated to delivering high-quality clinical care. Responsibilities include routine work, some on-call duties across two sites, with flexible work hours Monday to Friday. We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, hardworking, team player for 6 sessions per week. Salary negotiable depending on experience, will include payment for study leave (1.11 sessions paid per session worked). We are looking for a dynamic, professional and friendly GP to join our practice team to continue to deliver the high standard of clinical care we currently provide.
The post holder must be dedicated, responsible, and driven to contribute to the innovative and forward‑thinking practice direction, and be a key team player.
They must have an awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. safeguarding, prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety etc.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential.
Mix of routine work, some on‑call, working across two sites.
15‑minute appointments.
Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend may be required occasionally.
Flexibility around start and end times is essential.
Permanent position.
Pontesbury & Worthen Medical Practice is a developing and growing practice with two sites, situated in the rural villages of Pontesbury and Worthen, just south of Shrewsbury, providing medical care for approximately 10 500 patients.

Computer System: We use EMIS Web along with Docman, and Clarity Team Net.
