University Medical Group in Reading is inviting a Salaried GP to join a well-established, Outstanding CQC practice. The role offers a 3-day week with 6 sessions and a supportive team of 17 salaried GPs, a teaching environment for students and registrars, and time for study and appraisal. Fixed-term for 12 months from January 2027.

The clinic provides admin time, AI scribe tool, and a collaborative culture with emphasis on work-life balance and professional development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Looking for a GP role with genuine worklife balance? Join one of West Berkshires largest and most innovative practices, offering a 3-day working week, outstanding support, and a collaborative team of 17 salaried GPs. Fixed term contract - 12 months from January 2027.

Main duties of the job

• 10-minute appointments with 20 minutes for complex/frail elderly patients

The Role

• 6 sessions per week

• Extended hours: 18:30 - 20:00 (1 - 2 times per month)

Appointments blocked to mentor and supervise other members of the team
