Leeds City Medical Practice is seeking a salaried GP to join our team. We can offer 6–8 sessions per week initially on a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027, with potential for extension and a permanent post thereafter.
We are offering between £10,500-£11,500 per session dependent on experience and will enrol you in the NHS Pension scheme. Note: the post may be closed early if a suitable candidate is found.

In accordance with the practice rota, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries. Carrying out home visits for our Housebound patients, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, reviewing of clinical documentation and dealing with queries.
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance.
Effective management of long-term conditions.
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks.
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance.
Work collaboratively, accepting a fair share of the practice workload.
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process.
We are a friendly GMS training practice in the Beeston area of Leeds, operating from two sites with a patient population over 19,000.
10 GP Partners and 2 Salaried GPs.
Strong Nursing Team including Nurse Practitioner, ACP (Paramedic) and Practice Matron.
Training both Registrars and FY2s.
SystmOne.
Full range of Enhanced Services delivered.
Member of the South and East GP Federation (SELGP).
The practice is a proactive member of Beeston and Hunslet & Middleton PCNs.
