Burlington Primary Care in Ipswich is seeking a salaried GP to join our busy, community-focused practice that values innovation, teamwork, and high-quality patient care.

You will screen patients, develop care plans, prescribe within formulary, and participate in training, audits, and quality targets, with benefits including NHS Pension and generous leave.

Responsabilidades

• Screen patients for disease risk and early illness signs.
• Develop care plans with patients and follow current practice protocols.
• Provide counselling and health education to patients.
• Admit/discharge patients and refer to other care providers as needed.
• Record clear consultation notes and collect data for audits.
• Undertake mandatory training and contribute to quality improvement and QoF targets.
• Compile and issue computer-generated prescriptions and prescribe appropriately.
• Deliver the normal duties of a GP within a primary care setting.

• Main duties of the job: - Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness. - Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols. - Providing counselling and health education. - Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate. - Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards. - Collecting data for audit purposes. - Ensure and undertake the annual mandatory training relevant to the job role. - Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions. - Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate. - In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary practice. - Salary is depending on duties within our development framework.
