Job summary

Ker Practice in Glasgow is recruiting a Salaried GP to join our friendly team from Croftfoot Road and the New Gorbals Health Centre. Sessions to be negotiated, offering flexibility in your timetable.

We are an EMIS and DocMan Practice serving around 10,100 patients with a mixed demographic. We use the Klinik digital asynchronous consulting system and provide strong onsite pharmacy support.

Qualifications

• Salaried GP position with flexible sessions.
• Teaching FY2 doctors and medical students is part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP services to a patient list of around 10,100.
• Collaborate with GP Partners, Salaried GPs and Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
• Contribute to teaching FY2 doctors and medical students.
• Utilise EMIS and Klinik for patient management.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Ker Practice for an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly team working from Croftfoot Road and the New Gorbals Health Centre. Sessions to be negotiated.

We are an EMIS and DocMan Practice with 10100 patients of a mixed demographic. We have been using a Digital Asynchronous Consulting System called Klinik since September 2023 which has been very successful.

Our clinical team consists of 4 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners and 2 Practice Nurses. We enjoy onsite Pharmacy support together with a Community Links Practitioner and Money Advice Worker. We are also a Teaching Practice for FY2 doctors and Medical Students and we help train ANPs.
