Main duties of the job

Ashbourne Medical Practice is a busy, forward thinking expanding practice in a semi-rural locality, on the edge of the Peak District. We are proud to be a training practice, supporting staff development and working with local providers to deliver GP training, medical student placements and are looking to expand to cover student nurses.

About us

Ashbourne is situated in South Derbyshire with easy access to the cities of Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield but does have a delightful town centre with an interesting array of shops, cafe, and restaurants. There are several active community and sport groups, and facilities for team and individual sports, including a leisure centre with pool. There is endless walking and cycling in the Peak District National Park and water sports at nearby Carsington Reservoir.
The practice achieves high standards of performance against QOF and is rated as Good by CQC. We are a SystmOne practice and utilise other commonly used systems.
