A leading healthcare provider in the UK is looking for a salaried GP to join a dedicated clinical team in Dewsbury. You will be responsible for various duties, including patient consultations and health assessments, while ensuring a high standard of care. The role requires a medical degree and substantial experience in general practice. The practice offers a supportive and friendly environment with a focus on continuous patient care and development.
We are recruiting a salaried GP to work 4–6 sessions per week and join our multi‑disciplinary clinical team providing a high standard of care for our practice population of approximately 12,900 patients. We are a forward‑thinking practice, friendly, approachable, supportive, and a GP training practice with experience in training staff in a variety of valued roles. The surgery is in a modern purpose‑built building with free staff parking and close to good public transport links.
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post‑holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone and online consultations, queries, visiting patients at home, dealing with queries and clinical admin work in a timely fashion.
Our practice team is led by four partners and comprises GP’s, GP registrars, salaried GP, ANP, ACPs, trainee ACP, Physician Assistants, Practice Nurses, Nurse Associates, Healthcare Assistants, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians and GP Assistants. We have a close practice team of over 40 staff who are friendly, approachable and supportive. We strive to provide a high standard of care for our patients with the resources available and working in partnership with wider health and social care services. The practice is an active member of Dewsbury & Thornhill PCN and Curo Healthcare GP Federation, working with other local practices to develop population care.
