A GP practice in Croydon is seeking a postholder to lead on key disease areas and assist in developing healthcare services. The role involves clinical sessions, including consultations, home visits, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should have GMC registration and considerable GP experience. This position offers competitive sessions pay ranging from £10,500 to £12,000 depending on experience.
The postholder will have the opportunity to lead on key disease areas (monitoring trends in the Quality and Outcomes Framework,treatment, staff training and prescribing) and assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list, including practice-based commissioning, patient participation and health promotion.
Supported by the clinical and management teams, the postholder will work as one of the GPs within Thornton Road & Valley Park Surgery, while also contributing to the wider multidisciplinary team across the Bourne Health Partnership.

In accordance with the practice timetable, you will undertake clinical sessions consisting of face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, clinical triage, queries, home visits, repeat prescriptions signing, test result actioning, and medical reports. Consultations are typically 10 minutes.
Thornton Road & Valley Park Surgery, part of the Bourne Health Partnership, is a friendly, well-established two-site GP practice in Croydon delivering high-quality NHS primary care to a diverse population of approximately 19,500 patients. Operating from our Thornton Road site and the Valley Park Healthy Living Centre, we are a modern and forward-thinking practice rated Good by the CQC.
Our teams work collaboratively across both sites and are committed to compassionate, efficient and innovative patient care. As a growing practice within a large and supportive partnership, we offer opportunities for development, leadership and involvement in service improvement.

GP Partners and Salaried GPs, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, , First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners, and an experienced management and administrative team.
