Job summary

Ambrose Avenue Group Practice, Colchester, invites a salaried GP to join on a part-time basis (4-6 sessions per week) with 15-minute appointments and strong clinical support. The role emphasises safe, patient-centred care and work-life balance.

Job description

Ambrose Avenue currently has a vacancy for an enthusiastic, motivated salaried GP to join us, starting as soon as possible. This position is offered on a part-time basis for 4-6 sessions per week. We offer:

Ambrose Avenue Group Practice is a busy general practice based across two sites (Ambrose Avenue and Tollgate) in Colchester. Experience

• Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services;
• Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date;
• Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety;
• Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.
