Job summary

Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a dedicated GP to work across High Oak Surgery and Chapel Street Surgery. The role offers 12 sessions per week with diverse clinical exposure across two sites within the NHS trust.

You will conduct patient consultations, diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions, prescribe medications, and participate in CPD and audits to ensure high-quality primary care. This position supports development within a modern NHS environment.

Qualifications

  • GP with NHS experience and registration is preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites within the trust.
  • Commitment to CPD and quality improvement.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GP to join our dynamic practice. You will have the opportunity to work across sites in both a modern, state-of-the-art health centre (High Oak Surgery) and a more traditional setting (Chapel Street Surgery) as part of an NHS Trust. This diverse role offers the chance to provide high-quality primary care to a wide range of patients with the opportunity to gain invaluable experience to promote career development.

We are looking to appoint at least 2 GPs to come and work with us. 12 Session per week are available over a variety of days.

  • Conducting patient consultations (face-to-face, telephone)
  • Diagnosing and treating a range of medical conditions
  • Prescribing medications
  • Providing health education and advice for patients
  • Managing chronic diseases
  • Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Adhering to clinical guidelines and best practice
  • Participating in Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of practice policies
  • Supporting the training and development of other healthcare professionals
