Job Description

Home Instead are seeking compassionate, friendly individuals to assist us in helping people maintain their independence and thrive in the comfort of their own homes in East Cheshire.

This vacancy is a full-time, salaried role. You'll work anaverage of 35 hours per week, with availability required7am - 9:45pm Monday to Friday, plus alternate weekends. The annual salary is£25,000, with additional pay if your average hours go above 35 per week. Mileage is paid in addition at35p per mile.

We know that top-quality care can't be rushed, which is why we don't offer short visits - every visit is at least one hour. Some are much longer, such as 4-hour companionship visits. We ensure you have enough travel time to get to each client, so you can focus on giving them the time and attention they deserve.

We carefully match Care Professionals with clients based on similar skills, personality, and interests, so you can really connect with the people you’re supporting. For first visits with new clients, you’ll be accompanied by someone who will introduce and support you, allowing you to get to know the client and their routine.

• £25,000 annual salary(average 35 hours/week, with extra pay for additional hours)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with household taskslike cleaning, tidying, and laundry
• Prepare meals or assist with cookingyour client's favourite dishes
• Offer companionshipby engaging in hobbies and spending quality time together
• Support with personal care, including showering, dressing, and bedtime routines
• Take clients on outingsthey enjoy, like shopping or a local café
• Keep accurate recordsand report any concerns following company guidelines
• Administer medicationand document accordingly
• Promote independenceby supporting clients in following their routine and making their own choices

Requirements:

• Experience is not requireddue to our comprehensive in-house training, though previous care experience is an advantage
• Full driver’s licence and your own vehicle
• Reliable, punctual, and caring personality
• Confident in conversation
• Able to commit to the required hours
• Must live in East Cheshire and be happy to travel around this area
