Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain QMS & SMS documentation accurately.

What you'll be doing
  • Support the implementation of the QMS & SMS in the Integrated Training Centre
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, EN 9100, the BAE Systems MTOE and Training Management Plan along with DSAT
  • Engage with MOD Quality and Assurance sections to foster mutually beneficial working relationships
  • Ensure that all documentation related to the QMS & SMS is up-to-date and accurate
  • Undertake auditing and governance activities as directed by line manager
Your skills and experiences
Essential
  • Experience in Safety, Quality, Assurance & Compliance auditing
  • Relevant knowledge, background and experience related to Aircraft Maintenance Part 145/Training Part 147 and Support operations
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/EN 9100 and Safety & Quality Management Systems
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems and Microsoft suite
  • Ability to brief publicly to audiences of 20+
Desirable
  • Experience of DSAT
  • A relevant degree/ HND or HNC, or relevant/equivalent vocational experience
  • NEBOSH/IOSH Certificate or equivalent vocational experience
  • Lead Auditor/Quality Auditor qualification

The Safety, Compliance and Assurance team plays a pivotal role within the Integrated Training Centre (ITC), ensuring that all activities meet the highest Regulatory, Certification, Legislative, and Customer standards. Operating in a joint BAE Systems and Customer enterprise environment, the team safeguards the integrity and credibility of our training operations, directly influencing our licence to operate and the customer's confidence in our capability.

As part of this high-profile function, you'll work closely with colleagues across all levels of the organisation, providing expert insight and leadership in Safety, Compliance, and Assurance.
