A community-focused educational organization in Grantham seeks a security personnel to ensure safety and provide protective services on campus. Ideal candidates will possess a High School Diploma, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to diversity. A community-focused position responsible for helping to foster and safeguard a climate conducive to learning and working. The purpose of this position is to provide security and protective services to the campus, and to cultivate positive relationships with the community at large.
Must have the ability to mentally and physically perform essential job functions which require walking, prolonged standing, pushing, pulling, stooping, lifting (40lbs) and endure various weather conditions. Willingness to work different shifts, work weekends and holidays, some mandatory overtime required for special events; submit to Hepatitis B immunization or provide documentation of such. This position is essential; employees providing essential services must report to work as scheduled by their supervisor in the event of an emergency closing or delay.
This position requires the operation of a Messiah University-owned or leased vehicle and the employee must possess and maintain a current driver’s license, meet the established criteria, and abide by all policies and procedures as presented in the University’s Fleet Vehicle Use Policy.
